How to add RSS feed icon to blogger blog using Feedburner

What is Feedburner and RSS feed icon

RSS feed icon to blogger blog using Feedburner helps to increase blog traffic. It keeps visitor up to date with the blog's content. They get notifications when the blog is updated.

You may have a blog which gets a good amount of traffic per day. But, your work is not done yet. You should want them to keep coming back to your blog. You may ask is it really necessary? Let's do some calculations. Suppose you get 500 visitors per day and you publish at least 1 post every day. Now think that you have been able to retain 3 visitors from them. Then when you will publish a new post next day, those 3 visitors will return to your blog to check that new post. That means you will get 503 visitors the next day. Thus after 1 month, you will get 590 (90 returning visitor) visitors.

Now the question is how will they keep coming back to your blog? It is simple. They have to remember your blog just like your phone number. So would they write your blog's address on a notepad or save as bookmark? The answer is no. These are not effective ways and we aren't living in the old generation. In those ways, they have to check your blog from time to time to read new posts. Then within a few days, they will lose interest. Most importantly nowadays people don't use this method. So, we will provide them a facility by which they will not only remember your blog URL but also be notified when your blog will be updated. To do this, we will use 2 methods. I personally categorize them in this 2 methods, 1. Direct method 2. Indirect method.

In the direct method, your visitors have to subscribe to your blog via RSS feed using their email and in the indirect method, we will take help from social media like Facebook, Google Plus, Twitter etc. In this article, I will discuss the 1st method.

How does this method work?

In this way, your visitors have to subscribe to your blog's RSS feed by their email. Then, when you will publish a new post, subscribed visitors will get an email immediately. So, there is a high chance that they will come to your blog because of that email. Keep in mind that, your contents must be good enough to get more and more subscribers. If your content can't impress them, they won't hesitate to forget your blog.
